I wasn't expecting to write a part II, but the famous fighter I mentioned in my previous blog entry has changed his mind and has decided to get back in the race.
Sigh...
Since we're on the topic, I found out over the weekend that another celebrity has decided to run for Senator. After the administration didn't include him in their line up, and the opposition didn't want him, he decided to run as an independent candidate.
The sad thing is this: a friend met this "actor" a few years ago, and she said he didn't have much "up there" to begin with. It just so happens that a lot of people find him attractive, and he was able to marry into a prominent family from the south. Otherwise, we can't really expect much from him. Since he hasn't been in the showbiz spotlight lately, it seems he's going to try his luck (as if there was such a thing) in the political stage.
Sigh...
