Xena's back on regular telly

I found out over the weekend that Xena The Warrior Princess is indeed back on regular/local (non-cable) TV.

I wrote last week that there is quite a significant number of Xena fans on Friendster, a lot of them females in their late teens to early twenties. I wondered how these young people got to know a TV show that was on in the mid- to late-90's. They would've been too young to appreciate it back then. But while at my parents' house, my sis tuned in to channel 9 and I saw the Sunday afternoon line up. And lo and behold, they are showing both Xena and Hercules in the afternoon (around 3 or 4 PM). Strange time slot though. I would think during that time, most people are either at the mall, or visiting relatives, or having their siesta, or in church, or having their siesta in church ;p

I guess the seemingly unpopular nature of the shows isn't enough to bring them back to prime time status.

Hopefully I'd get to catch both shows this coming weekend...
