My Multiply is going bye-bye? No!!!

Yesterday Multiply announced that they're dropping their social networking services and will focus on the e-commerce side of the business beginning the 1st of December. Through the years, the online shopping side of Multiply has apparently grown to the point that its owners have decided to make this "business decision." And with FB being such a force, the SN part of Multiply has slowly been relegated to the wayside.

This saddens me immensely, as Multiply has been my main site for posting photos, videos, music, and most importantly, blog entries. I have a Blogger account that's linked to this account, but I appreciate how I can post all these different things on just one site, not to mention that I hate the interface on Blogger. Multiply is simpler and much more intuitive. If I rely on my Blogger for blogging, I'd have to go to Youtube or Vimeo for my vids, then Flickr or Picasa for my photos. Not cool.

I'm still not getting an FB account.

Major bummer.
