People were starting to pile up with lines multiplying at the exit gates. And what were the MRT staff doing? Nothing! As I reach the exit they open another turnstyle, and it's only then that I notice that we were 3 queues using the same single turnstyle! Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot???!!! Two other turnstiles were available, but looked like they were for entry. Even then, they could've set them up for exit during rush hour. Idiots!
I honestly wouldn't mind a fare hike if it would have a corresponding improvement in service.
Seriously, this country's public transport system is an absolute perfect metaphor for the state of the whole nation. It's going nowhere.
MRT Ayala exit at around 7:30am.
