He was pre-term at 34 weeks and weighed 2.7kg.
Our hospital stay was slightly extended due to Zach's low blood sugar level (hypoglycemia), which, according to the doctors, was due to Cindy's gestational diabetes (hyperglycemia). We thought we'd be leaving him at the hospital, as was the case with Matt. But by God's grace, his condition normalized, and he was concurrently cleared of any infections (which could have caused his further stay at the nursery).
Praise God for his infinite mercy and grace! Thank you Lord for the wonderful gift of life!
